When we made our reservation it was clear that there was a culture of customer service. They were great to set us up for a New Year's Eve room. When we arrived we found the same wonderful welcome and a complimentary bottle of champagne. Every staff person in the restaurants, the casino, the comedy club and throughout was friendly and so pleasant. The room was great and very clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We loved the comedy club and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Great experience. Thank you!

This place is awesome. It just as I expected but better...The decor of the lobby to the rooms were top notch! I can't wait to stay here again. The front desk is awesome and very very helpful with your requests! They texted me when I was still at home (hence I live in Idaho) about my upcoming stay and if I needed anything. They even have Starbucks inside.

We had a nice 4 day vacation over Thanksgiving. The rooms are not as quiet because we could hear the people next doors kids crying and screaming all through the night. Bring your own pillows! The pillows are incredibly hard. Coffee maker in our room didn't work and the hot water in the shower never really got hot, just warm. Rooms on 8th floor could use updating. But the staff is awesome! Casino was nice, smoke free and great dining options. We'll be back!

My family, which is myself, my husband, and my 7 year old son, came to Rio Rancho for the WWE event and we opted to stay at this hotel for several reasons. The bowling alley, the closeness to where we needed to go, and the various options for food and the pool. We had zero intentions of being there for the sake of it being a "casino." On the first night, we swam, changed and decided to go downstairs for some dinner. We went into the sports bar restaurant, ordered food to TAKE BACK TO THE ROOM. All of the staff was very nice. My husband by himself decided to walk around the floor because we had a 30 minute wait for our food order. So myself and my son stayed in the restaurant area until we got our food. Once we got our food, we walked out stopped briefly so I could text my husband to tell him we were done. David, your security guard, was RUDE FROM THE MINUTE HE SAW US. He told us to quit loitering in the walkway, even though we werent, and then said as he pointed at my 7 year old "HE CANT BE HERE." I 100% knew this, but told him I had to let my husband know we were done and try to figure out where he was so I could get the room key to go back up to our room. He replied, "well you need to call him and get off the floor" DO NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO first of all, and second we had BARELY made it out of the restaurant.
So Ricky Rescue David, FOLLOWED US and stalker watched us during the 2 minutes that I walked over to my husband so I could get the room key from him. We NEVER stopped directly at a machine, we stayed on the outside of the floor, and before I could even get the key from my husband, DAVID WALKS OVER and begins to YELL ONCE AGAIN at us for being TOO CLOSE TO THE MACHINES. I finally had to tell him to back off because he was literally being super aggressive for ZERO REASON other than being a jerk. I know the minors cant be near the machines and I was trying to make my way back up to our room but he kept on and he was following us like a creep. Once I got the key we left and he continued to follow us until we were out of sight. I realize this is a casino, but if your security guards are going to treat people like this, then we definitely WILL NEVER come back here. We stayed because of the bowling alley, the variety of food, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. So to families, don't take your kids here, because the security guards like David, will treat you like garbage. I had every intention on leaving that night, and cancelling our stay, but my husband talked me into staying. Was there other kids there, yes there was, several, and I sure hope they werent treated nearly as rude as we were.
Otherwise, The food was good, the rooms were nice, and the rest of the staff besides David were very nice. Find a new security guard!!

1 star for this reason only - I paid for a slice of cake and pointed out the one I wanted, the cashier said NO I have to give you the oldest one, which are the ones in the back, then told me the one they got me was 3 days old and I had to take it, because that is their policy - I was flabbergasted! They saw my reaction and went ahead and gave me one that was a bit fresher, and said they might get in trouble for doing that - WOW! REALLY?!?! I like their food overall, although never bought cake until that day - so the 1 star was knowing I paid for old food in the dessert and salad section. I don't put blame on the employees.
